Description

The Sumter Landing Community Development District is requesting bids for District No.10 Wetland 88 Equalization Transfer pipe project. Qualified firms wishing to respond for "ITB #20B-028 for DISTRICT NO.10 WETLAND 88 EQUALIZATION TRANSFER PIPE" must provide all labor, services, equipment and materials described in this document, whether directly or through sub-contractors/sub-consultants. This does not, however, limit the use of sub-contractors or sub-consultants. The intent of this project is to procure a qualified contractor with a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in installation of storm water construction and wetlands. It is the intention of the District to award this ITB to a Contractor, as deemed necessary, prudent and in the best interest of the District. The Contractor shall install silt fence around the construction project. The Contractor shall complete the project considering the wetlands. All work shall be completed without disturbance within the wetland. There will be no equipment, boats or floating platforms permitted within the wetland areas. The Contractor will provide (2) FDOT type “C” ditch bottom inlets, and grates. The Contractor will provide enough 57 stone to stabilize to the two type C structures. The Contractor will provide enough 12” SDR 35 PVC pipe to complete the 440’ +/- connection between to two type C let structures. The Contractor will provide the necessary lube and materials to assemble the pipe, FDOT approved mortar mix to complete the connections in the Type C box. The Contractor will provide an approved pipe joiner tool to assemble the pipe together. The Contractor will provide equipment suitable to traverse thru the wetland environment that can excavate the two foot cut to install the pipe, such as the Marsh Master with excavator. The Contractor will provide tools that can cut, trim, or remove any overgrown vegetation in the construction area. All excavation shall take place inside the 10 +/= path, all excavated material shall also remain in the 10 +/= path and be used to backfill the pipe trench. There will be NO densities requirement for this project. At competition of this project DPM/District will review all the requirement listed in the SWFWMD permit for compliance. The following boundaries, as shown on the approved construction drawing, shall be clearly delineated/maintained on the site prior to initial clearing or grading activities. a. Wetland and surface water areas b. Wetland buffers c. Limits of approved wetland impacts d. The delineation shall endure throughout the construction period and be readily discernible to construction and District personal
