| Description | SCOPE OF WORK: The existing Parking Ramp (Building 29) was completed in 2011. It is a three-story structure comprised of precast structural members, it contains two stairwells and one elevator. Ramp structural system and foundations were pre-engineered for to handle additional loads from a future 3rd and 4th level. The Buffalo VAMC currently uses parking areas on adjacent Erie County owned golf course property and New York State owned university property. The state and county owned areas are anticipated to become unavailable in the near future due to planned development by those property owners. This will place significant load on the already strained campus parking systems. |
