HVAC Replacement at Family Community Resource Center (FCRC)

A performance bond will be required from the successful contractor on this project, and consequently, all bidders shall submit, with their bid, a Bid Bond or Certified Check made payable to the school district, in the amount of 5% of the Base Bid shall accompany the Bid Package on October 21, 2021 2:00 p.m., as a guarantee that the bidder, if awarded the Contract, will furnish a 100% Performance and Payment Bond; execute the Contract; and proceed with the work. Upon failure to do so, he shall forfeit the deposit or amount of the Bid Bond as liquidated damages, and no mistakes or errors on the part of the Bidder shall excuse the Bidder or entitle him to a return of the deposit or Bid Bond. The existing system consists of (1) Cooling tower, (1) Water-cooled chiller, (2) Air handlers with coils and boilers. All components not utilized for the new system shall be demoed in their entirety
