Description | The 7th Contracting Squadron, Dyess AFB, TX is seeking capabilities from Small, Small Disadvantaged (SDB), 8(a), Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB), Economically Disadvantaged Women Owned Small Business (EDWOSB), Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB), Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), and Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) businesses for the purposes of determining the appropriate level of competition and/or small business subcontracting goals for a Street and Parking Paving Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) Contract. Street and Parking Paving Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) work requirements to be performed by the contractor consists of, but are not limited to, various repairs and/or complete reconstruction to various street and parking lot pavements at Dyess AFB, Texas. Work will be released to successful contractor in work packages via individual task orders. The government reserves the right to utilize in-house forces to accomplish work on base street pavements; however, the government guarantees that all task orders for street pavement work will be awarded to the contractor, except for those instances where government in-house forces are used. Unit prices will be taken from Base Year (year one) and one Option Year. Work may include but is not necessarily limited to: 1) Portland cement concrete and hot mix asphaltic concrete pavement section replacement, 2) milling of asphalt and installation of asphalt overlays, 3) installation of pavement markings, 4) curbs & gutters, 5) sidewalks, 6) swales, 7) surveying, and 8) other pavement related work. Please note that this Sources Sought does not in any way obligate the Government to award a subsequent Contract. This Sources Sought is for market research and planning purposes to determine if responsible sources exist and to assist in determining if this effort can be competitive.
