Description | The Santa Fe Swamp (west) Tract (22 acres) is located in parts of Bradford and Alachua counties. It is approximately 3 miles south of the town of Hampton on Bradford County Road 325. The entrance kiosk is on the left (east) side of the road. The treatment area on the east side of the Lake Alto Tract (5 acres) can be accessed across the street from the Santa Fe Swamp (west) Tract; there are a kiosk and small fenced parking area at this location. Access to the treatment area on the west side of the Lake Alto Tract (40 acres) is located approximately 2 miles north of the town of Waldo on US Highway 301. Turn right (east) on the small road/driveway that runs along the northern edge of the giant flea market. Follow this driveway back until it makes a hard-left turn to the north. At this point, there will be a locked gate directly ahead. Go through this gate and follow the dim road through the swamp heading east until you reach the railroad tracks. Cross the railroad tracks to access this treatment area |
