Description | The District is seeking proposals for Wide Area Network Connections and will accept responses from Service Providers for Lit Fiber solutions. The Bidder will include in their proposal, all costs necessary to provide, construct, install, program, maintain, and monitor the services requested below. Each bid shall conform and be responsive to the bid documents, copies of which are on file at Support Facilities Department. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of ninety (90) days after the date set for the opening of bids. Bidders shall possess at the time of the bid opening a valid Contractors license for the following class: B General. The successful bidder must maintain the license throughout the duration of this contract. This project requires that the Contractor and any subcontractor(s) shall pay not less than the prevailing rates of wages to all workers employed by them in the execution of the contract. Copies of schedules of rates so determined are on file at Support Facilities Department and are available to any interested party upon request. This project is not subject to the State's Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) requirements. In accordance with provisions of Public Contract Code Section 22300, substitution of eligible and equivalent securities for any monies withheld to ensure performance under this contract will be permitted at the request and expense of the Contractor. The District reserves the right: (1) to accept or reject any and all bids, (2) to waive any irregularities in the bids or bidding, (3) to be sole judge as to the merit, quality, and acceptability of materials proposed and their compliance to the specifications which in their opinion will best serve the interest of the District.
