Description

The Town of Avilla Town Council, Avilla, Indiana will receive sealed bids for furnishing all labor and materials for the construction of the 2022-2 CCMG Projects Any bids received after the designated time will be returned unopened. Meadows Parkway, First Street and Second Street roadway improvements consists of constructing; approximately 2,450 linear feet (total) of pavement milling and asphalt overlay, asphalt pavement widening, HMA full depth patching, concrete curb and gutter, concrete sidewalk replacement, concrete curb face walk, ADA compliant ramps, stormwater system improvements, pavement markings, erosion control and restoration. This portion of the project is partially funded from Community Crossing Matching Grant Funds. There is also a mandatory additive alternate bid for CCMG ineligible new sidewalks for Meadows Parkway, First Street and Second Street. Bid proposals shall be complete and properly executed on the bid form and must be accompanied by an executed Indiana State Board of Accounts Form 96, confirmation that copies of Addenda were received (if issued), and satisfactory bid security. A certified or cashiers check payable to the Town of Avilla, or a bid bond in the amount equal to five (5) percent of the bid amount must accompany each bid. All checks of unsuccessful bidders shall be returned upon selection of successful bidder. The successful Bidder will be required to provide a Performance and Payment Bond each in the amount of one hundred (100) percent of the Contract amount. In determining the lowest responsible bidder, the Town of Avilla Town Council will consider the Total Base Bid made for the contract. The Town of Avilla may also consider all other relevant facts mentioned in the Project Documents such as experience and subcontractors. The Town of Avilla Town Council reserve the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities in bidding and to award contracts in the best interest of the Town of Avilla.
