Description

Suffolk 3i, a Joint Venture as Construction Manager at Risk will receive bids for construction subcontracts at DFW Airport titled DFW CTA Expansion-Terminal C Utility Corridor Bids shall be on a lump sum basis and include the following bid packages: PACKAGES include: Demolition & Abatement ( 2.0 million) Concrete ( 1.5 Million) Masonry ( 900,000) Structural Steel (1.3 million) Waterproofing & Fireproofing( 200,000) Insulated Metal Panels( 800,000) Doors Frames Hardware Drywall& Plaster ( 375,000) Painting/ Wallcoverings ( 100,000) Fire Protection ( 150,000) HVAC/Plumbing ( 30 Million) Electrical /Low Voltage/ Communications Security ( 6.oMillion) Earthwork / Utilities/ Fuel Lines ( 3.5 Million). All Values are approximate All Package have a goal of 30% W/WBE Participation Bidding documents may be examined locally in plan rooms Suffolk 3i reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive technicalities, to advertise for new proposals, or proceed to do the work by other means when in the best interests of DFW. No Bidder may withdraw its Proposal within ninety (90) calendar days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Suffolk 3i policy is to obtain maximum practical M/WBE participation at all tiers. In furtherance of this policy, Suffolk 3i has implemented an M/WBE Program for all bidders in which they are required to demonstrate good faith efforts to obtain maximum practical M/WBE participation and to contractually commit to a percentage of M/WBE participation if awarded the project.
