American River Common Features 2016 Erosion Protection Project

The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, portable facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, necessary permits, and other items and nonpersonal services necessary to perform the tree removal and trimming, and elderberry transplanting defined in this Performance Work Statement (PWS). The overall responsibility of the Contractor is to manage and perform the activities necessary to complete the work described in this PWS and the Drawings (Exhibit A). Services include, but are not limited to planning, coordinating, organizing, managing, and performing the following services: - Acquiring permits - Clearing - Transplanting elderberry shrubs - Preparing mitigation sites for planting - Planting mitigation sites - Irrigating mitigation sites - Performing weed control - Controlling herbivore browse - Documenting work - Monitoring plant survival rates - Keeping sites clean and organized - Removing mitigation site establishment infrastructure at end of contract

Division 33 -	Utilities, Storm Drainage Utilities, Ponds and Reservoirs.
Division 35 -	Waterway and Marine Construction, Shoreline Protection, Waterway Construction and Equipment.
