Emergency Generator Replacements/Upgrades for Fire Stations 43 and 44

The procurement, replacement, permitting, and installation of emergency generators at existing Fire Stations 43 and 44 (“Project”). Fire Station 43 is located at 16325 Vanderbilt Drive, Bonita Springs, Florida 34134 (26.32202-81.81972). Fire Station 44 is located at 8970 Hammock Oak Drive, Naples, Florida 34109 (26.25027-81.80575). The purpose of the Project is to provide protection to Fire Stations 43 and 44 to reduce and mitigate the damage that might occur from severe weather or other hazardous situations. The Project shall consist of the purchase and installation of two (2) emergency generators, one (1) 80 KW diesel emergency generator and one (1) 50 KW propane emergency generator with upgraded 7 light controller panels with pre-alarms for low pressure, high water, and low temperatures. Automatic Transfer Switches and annunciator applications per NFPA 110 must also be included. In the event of a power outage, the emergency generators will allow Fire Stations 43 and 44, which are critical facilities, to remain operational and maintain emergency functions for the community. The existing equipment, generators, and fuel tanks(s) shall be removed from the fire stations and discarded in compliance with Local, State, and Federal Laws, Rules/Regulations, and/or ordinances.
