North Country Children's Museum 2022 Addition and Alterations

The scope of this project includes, but is not limited to, the following: demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a museum. As of December 19, 2022, a general contractor has not yet been selected for this project. A firm construction timeline for this project has not yet been released. All bids must be accompanied by a non- collusion statement. North County Children's Museum reserves the right to reject any or all bids. All bids must be written in ink on the forms provided. Bid Security is not required for this project. MWBE goals of 10% the cost of construction each Woman- Owned and Minority Owned businesses. Contractors are required to log their solicitations of MWBE businesses. Attention of bidders is called to the tax-exempt status of the North Country Children's Museum. Bids should not include sales and compensating use tax on the cost of materials which are to be incorporated into the structure. North Country Children's Museum reserves the right to consider all bids for a period of not to exceed forty-five (45) days following the bid opening before awarding the Contract, during which period bids shall not be withdrawn, and reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in the bids, and to award the Contract in the Owner's best interest. Substantial Completion shall be 30 September 2023. A penalty of one hundred dollars ($100.00) per day may be assessed for late substantial completion.
