Description

Provide preventative maintenance on the standby generator sets for the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee (HACM) at the various locations throughout the City of Milwaukee. Perform monthly inspections and yearly full service on all of the standby generators owned by the Housing Authority. (See attached sheet for further information and annual full service pricing per development). Prices shall be based on one technician providing the work. In situations where two people are required, the HACM will provide an additional person. Maintenance throughout the year will be on a monthly basis at each location indicated on the attached sheet. Each generator must be tested and run a minimum of thirty (30) minutes each month, as per Planned Maintenance Checklist (Monthly Inspection) attached. A checklist must be provided to our Maintenance Staff, located at 2411 North 41st Street, after each monthly inspection is completed. This contract will be effective May 1, 2022 through April 30, 2023 with the option to extend for an additional four-one year terms upon mutual consent of both parties. The Housing Authority reserves the right to: reject any and all quotations; waive informalities, technical defects, and minor irregularities; accept the quotation (if any) deemed most advantageous to and in the best interests of the Housing Authority. Award will be based on price, contractor's availability to provide the specified services when required, and contractor's expertise and past performance.
