Description

The City of Pomona (the "City") is soliciting bids from firms for Tenant Improvements at 2040 N. Garey Avenue. The work of this Project consists of the tenant improvements located at 2040 North Garey Avenue, Pomona, Ca. The scope of the work includes but is not limited to the purchasing, installation, and or demolition of all existing all existing fixed lighting systems, installation of a new drop lighting system including T-Bar lighting, ballasts, lenses and LED lightbulbs and Tubes. Interior and exterior painting and special coatings applications for cabinetry and shelving, including all paintable services. Electrical will address new exterior light poles at employee parking, replace exhaust units at bathrooms, automated entrance doors for ADA accessibility as well as changing all duplex type outlets, switches, and cover plates. Plumbing items include demolition and new installation of water closets and lavatory. Moderate modification to a (2)-stall bath/shower in relocating the shower valve/head, new enclosure, and Ceramic tile replacement. Work also includes selective demolition, mason work repair, minor landscaping and glazier work. The Project will be bid as LUMP SUM. General Contractor shall include all costs for labor, materials, equipment, bonds insurance, permits and fees required to provide a complete and fully operational facility per the Contract Documents A City of Pomona Business License is required, as well as, valid general liability and vehicle insurance, when (and if) delivering within City limits. Bid Validity: Bids shall be valid for minimum of 180 days after the published Bid due date. Be the final judge as to which response is the most qualified. 5. Consider any of the following as non-responsive and subject to rejection for this solicitation: a. Responses from Respondent that are not registered as a prospective bidder for the City of Pomona for this specific solicitation; b. Responses containing items not specified; c. Responses containing incorrect items; d. Responses that do not respond to items in the manner specified; e. Responses received by in person, telephone, email or facsimile; f. Responses that fail to specifically provide the information requested; and g. Responses otherwise not compliant with the instructions and requirements.
