Description

1. Contractor is responsible to obtain all permits related/pertaining to the proposed work prior to any earthmoving. Contractor is responsible for the proper and legal disposal of all construction wastes generated from this project. Construction wastes include, but are not limited to excess soil materials, building materials, concrete wash water and collected sediments from E&S BMPs. Contractor is responsible to provide all documentation for his proposed waste site to the Inspector-in-Charge, prior to any earthmoving. 2. Contractor shall furnish all labor, tool, equipment, materials and other facilities necessary to construct concrete pavements, concrete sidewalks and curbs in various locations throughout the City; adjust sewer and manholes and water castings and do other incidental work in connection thereto, in accordance with the Standards and Specifications of the City of Pittsburgh and upon order of the Owner Representative of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure 3. Contractor shall furnish, construct, maintain, replace and subsequently remove, all erosion and sedimentation pollution control devices necessary to prevent accelerated erosion/sedimentation during construction. Contractor shall furnish, install, maintain and subsequently remove all maintenance and protection of traffic devices necessary to protect the traveling public during construction. 4. Contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, equipment, materials and other facilities necessary to remove and reconstruct the existing sidewalk and deep curb, as well as the construction of new ADA compliant handicap ramps Period of Contract: May 1, 2020 through April 30 2022, with Two, One-Year Options to Renew
