Backbone Fiber Segment No.12 Phase 1 and Athletic District Lateral Services

Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: a. Campus Backbone Fiber Segment No. 12 Phase 1: 1. To install outside plant optical fiber cabling for the upgrade and continuation of the campus fiber infrastructure. The Telecom (ITS) project is known as IT-1105. 2. The new Segment is to be referred as Fiber Backbone No.12 Phase 1 and is to be placed in a point-to-point route as indicated on the T-Series Drawings entitled “UCONN Campus Fiber Backbone 12 Phase 1” from the Babbidge Library MDF to manhole UV293. b. Athletic District Development Service Laterals: 1. To install outside plant optical fiber cabling and copper cabling to provide network service to the new Athletic District facilities. 2. The new segments are to be placed as indicated on the T-Series Drawings entitled “Athletic District Development”.
