Description | 1. Demolition of existing carpet and install new in the Circuit Court Clerk Suite. 2. Demolition of VCT Tile in bathrooms (Rooms 228 and 229) only. In other areas VCT will be laid over top of the existing. 3. Install new VCT in Rooms 232, 231, 219, 225, 224, 228 and 229. These sections are highlighted in green on the drawings. 4. Rooms 223, 226 and 227 shall be left untouched. 5. Many large shelving units in the Records Room 230 will remain and carpet will be installed around them. 6. Flooring under the large rolling file shall be replaced with VCT Tile and a transition strip added. 7. Project must be done in phases to allow the office to continue daily operations. 8. The County will move and replace existing furniture. 9. Notes to the drawings: i. Only sections to the left of the blue line on the drawing will be completed. ii. In the Staff Lounge, the wall highlighted in yellow does not exist. iii. The lines in red represent walls that are now in place for an office. The County is in the process of installing of a new transaction counter in the Circuit Court Clerk Office. The County wishes for this flooring project to follow immediately after the transaction counter is complete. Scheduling and completion dates will be stated in the resulting contract. If any Vendor has questions about any specifications or other solicitation documents, the Vendor should contact the person issuing the RFQ whose name appears on the face of the solicitation no later than three working days before the due date. Any revisions to the solicitation will be made only by addendum issued by the person issuing the RFQ. Award will be made to the vendor that, in the County's opinion, provides the best overall value. Best value will be based on price, availability, experience, and other information provided in the quotation. The County reserves the right to award by item, groups or items or total, to reject any and all quotations in whole or in part, and to waive any informality or technical defect if, in its judgement, is in the best interests of the County. |
