Description

Work consists of installation of a 4-inch HDPE SDR7 subaqueous pipeline from the Tylerton Pump Station for approximately 5,100 linear feet to a discharge manhole on Marsh Road in Rhodes Point. The project involves two (2) horizontal directional drills with lengths of approximately 600 feet and 725 feet with open water transition connections. The remaining pipeline installation to be in open water with buried pipe installed by hydraulic jetting technology referenced in the wetlands license. Smith Island is in the Chesapeake Bay approximately thirteen (13) miles from the Crisfield Depot.
