Pumps for Dock Square Pumping Station

The Town of Rockport hereby makes public notification of a contract for the purchase and delivery of two (2) Vertical Pedestal Mounted Pumping Units for the Dock Square Sewer Pump Station. Written responses in the form of a price quotation for the supply and delivery of the specified equipment for the Dock Square Sewer Pump Station Pump Replacement Project he contract will be awarded to the bidder deemed by the awarding authority to be the lowest responsible and responsive bidder. A Payment Bond in amount equal to 50 percent of the total amount of the contract price with a surety company qualified to do business in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts will be required. The bidder agrees that its bid shall be good and may not be withdrawn for a period of 30 days, Saturdays, Sundays and legal holidays excluded, after the opening of the bids. The Town will reject general bids when required to do so in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws. The Town reserves the right to waive any informality, to accept or reject, in whole or in part any or all bids, or take whatever other action may be deemed to be in the best interest of the Town.
