Wilson Sanitary Sewer Line Replacement

Remove and replace approximately 830-feet +/- of 12 dia. clay pipe with a 12 dia. PVC pipe. The proposed 12 dia. pipe has already been bought by FSD and is located at 11545 Link Road. The contractor will need to transport the pipe from FSD facility to the job site. Approximately 50-feet of roadway guardrail will need to be removed and replaced to allow for through traffic during construction. Also, during construction the contractor will be responsible for pumping raw wastewater from the upstream manhole to the nearestdownstream manhole. Grading within the intersection of Wilson and Orleans roadways will be required to allow for through traffic. Any asphalt that is removed will need to be replaced per City of Fountain requirements. Existing manholes in Wilson Road will remain, but exist and entry holes will need to be modified for the new PVC pipe. Any adjacent disturbed vegetation areas will require hydro-seeding
