Description

The project consists of intersection improvements at eight locations within Boston region. Intersection improvements include the installation of a new traffic signal, traffic signals equipment, removal/replace traffic signal appurtenances like signal controller, signal controller cabinets, signal heads, wiring, vehicle detection system (loop detectors, video cameras) signal posts, signal mast arms, pedestrian signals including APS pushbuttons, countdown timers, conduits, pull boxes, or any other signal item. The proposed improvements will also include construction of bump-outs (curb extension), reconstruction of sidewalks and wheelchair ramps within the intersection, pavement markings and regulatory signage, milling and paving of deteriorated pavement and drainage structures adjustment/relocation within the intersection. The work includes unclassified excavation, micro-milling, full depth asphalt pavement, hot mix asphalt overlay, traffic signal systems, drainage, granite curb, pavement markings, signs, landscaping and other incidental work
