HVAC and Electrical Improvements at Maplewood Elementary School

SCOPE OF WORK: Electrical Distribution System Upgrades –Replace existing panels MDP and 5P with new panes DP1 and panel P to be located within the mechanical area of the building below the first-floor level. Install new panel L in the gym electrical room to provide service for the RTU’s. Heating and Air Conditioning Improvements – Remove 12 ground source heat pump console units and install 12 packaged RTU’s to serve classrooms. Provide with new gas line service from meter and condensate disposal to landscape. Remove abandoned mechanical equipment above the corridor ceiling. Remove and replace corridor ceiling with new LED lights. Provide extension of corridor walls to deck with 1-hour partition to separate the ceiling plenum of the classroom from the corridor. Remove and replace a strip of VCT flooring along the exterior walls of the classroom where console units are being removed. Abate the flooring in the electrical room and denoted classrooms. Provide clean concrete floor in electrical room with transition strip at corridor floor junction.
