Description

Paul Kinder Middle School Cafeteria Projection System Blue Springs R-4 School District of Jackson County, Missouri, acting by and through its Governing Board, hereinafter referred to as DISTRICT, will receive up to, but not later than, the above-stated bid deadline, sealed proposals at the place identified above for the award of a contract for RFP PKMS Cafeteria Projection System. The DISTRICT reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any bids or in the bidding process No bidder may withdraw any bid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days after the date set for the opening of bids. A representative from the bidding company must be present at the mandatory bid meeting or the bid will automatically be rejected. Any technical questions shall be directed to: Dr. Brandon Martin Director of Technology bmartin@bssd.net Questions regarding this RFP may be submitted by email no later than October 11, 2022 to the following: Brandon Martin, Director of Technology Blue Springs R-IV School District bmartin@bssd.net Subject: RFP PKMS Cafeteria Projection System The District is seeking bids to add a projection system to the cafeteria at Paul Kinder Middle School. The district currently utilizes iProject as an application to wirelessly project to Epson projectors. Staff utilize Microsoft Surface devices and Microsoft Surface Dock Twos. The expectation of this project is for staff to utilize their Surface device both wirelessly and hardwired the same as other spaces in the district. The installation shall include one Epson PowerLite L530 Full HD WUXGA Long-Throw Laster Projector, projector mount, 226" diagonal electric screen, HDMI and 3.5 mm cabling to a wall plate, tie sound into existing speakers, tie in any existing audio equipment/mixers, and bid speakers to tie into if none are present. Bidders shall include the price and number of days for any lifts needed for the project. It is possible the district may supply a lift, but not guaranteed. Bidders shall work with district electricians and networking personnel ensure power and data can be installed by the district in the areas needed by the bidder as a part of their installation solution. All work must have a guaranteed completion date of May 1, 2023 The District is requiring interested parties to submit printed proposals with completed forms from this packet delivered to the District prior to 3:00 pm on October 31, 2022. The District will not accept faxed, e-mailed, or electronic submissions. It is the responsibility of all responders to review the entire proposal, seek clarification of any item or requirement that may not be clear, and check all responses for accuracy before submitting a response.
