Drainage Improvements

For Drainage Improvements This contract provides for drainage improvements along multiple streets within Orange County. Proposed improvements include regrading existing ditches, removing debris from existing culverts, removing and replacing existing culverts and drainage inlets, installation of additional drainage inlets, repairing driveways and street crossings, culvert crossings, and all associated appurtenances. Contract provides for drainage improvements for Orange County, Texas. The improvements shall include all appurtenances associated with cleaning, shaping and regrading approximately 38.4 miles of roadside ditches, excavation/embankment, removal and replacement of approximately 6.4 miles of proposed RCP culverts ranging in size from 15 inch to 48 inch, safety end treatments, necessary traffic control, surface restoration and erosion protection This contract shall include all necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, inspection, testing, and superintendence required for the complete and operable rehabilitation of the proposed project as shown on the contract plans and specifications. Proposed improvements shall take place at the following locations (limits are approximate): Lawnoak Drive from West Bluff Road to Rosebud Drive Simmons/Warwick Culvert Crossing Bilbo Road from FM 1130 to the County Line Cajun Way from FM 1442 to Oilla Road Linscomb South/Rigby from Garrison to the dead end of Linscomb Granger Lane from FM 105 to Dead End of Granger Lane Dixie Lane from FM 2802 to Cole Road Rebel Road from Dixie to Cole Road Duncan Woods from FM 105 to FM 1135 Honeybee Lane Culvert Crossing Linscomb Central from FM 1442 to FM 1136 Earsel Lane to dead end of Earsel Linscomb North from East Railroad to end of county maintenance North Teal from Hwy 87 to dead end South Teal from Hwy 87 to FM 1130 Saxon Circle from FM 1130 to the loop Stallion Road from FM 1130 to dead end Tulane Road from Old Hwy 90 to 37th Street JB Arrington from Tulane to dead end A bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid. A certified check or bank draft payable to Orange County or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (at par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. All questions shall be received through electronically and addressed by Addendum. Questions will be received until Friday, February 3, 2023 at 5:00 PM, CST. Questions submitted after this time & date will not be answered. Orange County reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by Orange County for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder's qualifications prior to the contract award All contractors/subcontractors that are debarred, suspended or otherwise excluded from or ineligible for participation on federal assistance programs may not undertake any activity in part or in full under this project Owner and Engineer, in making copies of Bidding Documents available on the above terms, do so only for the purpose of obtaining Bids for the Work and do not confer a license or grant for any other use.
