Description | VETERANS PARKWAY LIFT STATION AND FORCE MAIN UPGRADES This project consists of the furnishing and installing of approximately 4,300' of 14" sanitary sewer force main by both open cut and trenchless installation methods, installation of steel casing, air release valves and associated structures, pump station upgrades including adding a new pump, control panel upgrades, addition of flow meter and manhole, and all other items shown on the plans and mentioned in the specifications for a complete project. Prospective bidders shall direct all bid questions in writing to Josh Darby with Jacobi, Toombs and Lanz, Inc. at j.darby@jtleng.com. Responses will be issued via addendum to all plan holders. The bids shall be Unit Price for all work shown on the plans and called for in the specifications with unit prices for extras as detailed in the Instructions to Bidders in the specifications and submitted in duplicate on the State Board of Accounts Form No. 96. An executed State Board of Accounts Form 96a or similar document shall be required. The bidder must file with their sealed bid proposal, a certified check or a bid bond in the amount of five (5) percent of the total bid, payable to the Jeffersonville Sewer Board. The above checks or bonds are to insure the execution of the contract on which such bids are made. The Contractor to whom the work is awarded will be required to furnish, before commencing work, a performance, maintenance and payment bond to extend for a period of one year after final acceptance, in an amount equal to the bid price of the contract awarded to said Contractor and Certificates of all Insurance as described in the Contract Documents. The Contract Documents, including the Plans and Specifications are on file for public inspection at the North Wastewater Treatment Plan, 423 Lewman Way, Jeffersonville, IN 47130. All sealed bids shall be turned in to the office of the City Clerk, Suite 156, First Floor, Jeffersonville City Hall, 500 Quartermaster Court, Jeffersonville, Indiana. Bids shall be turned in no sooner than 1:00 p.m. and no later than 2:00 p.m. on the 28th day of September, 2023. The Sewer Board of the City of Jeffersonville, IN reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities in bidding. |
