Description | The City of Mesa is seeking qualified general contractors for a Job Order Contract (JOC) to provide well drilling construction services that would include pilot boreholes, collecting cutting samples, depth-specific (zonal) sampling, aquifer testing (step-rate discharge testing and constant rate aquifer testing), casing, gravel pack installations, drilling, well installation, and well development programs along with any other well drilling activities as needed to support this program. All qualified firms interested in providing these services are invited to submit their Statement of Qualifications (SOQ). All SOQs must comply with the requirements specified in this Request for Qualifications (RFQ). The City intends to procure up to five (5) Job Order Contractors from this solicitation. This Job Order Contract is for a broad range pre-construction and construction services to support the exploration, improvement, and drilling of well sites throughout the City of Mesa. Several well site locations have been identified and acquired to create bolster water sources for the City of Mesa water system. The work is required in support of the City of Mesa's efforts to create more sources for well delivery. The contract will be an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) type contract and will include a wide variety of individual construction tasks to support the development of wells throughout the City of Mesa. The initial term of the JOC contract will be for three (3) years and may be renewed up to two (2) additional one-year terms. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any and all Statements of Qualifications. The City is an equal opportunity employer. Questions pertaining to the Job Order Contracting selection process or contract issues should be directed to Stephanie Gishey of the Engineering Department at stephanie.gishey@mesaaz.gov. |
