Design of New Potable Water Interconnection With Newark Water

The design of the new interconnection and regulating chamber shall generally include, but is not limited to: 1. Review and verify HMM’s conclusions regarding conceptual design, type, size, and recommended site locations for the new interconnection and regulating chamber 2. Engineer to work with Commission attorneys to prepare agreement with the City of Newark for the interconnection including water usage conditions 3. Engineer to work with Commission attorneys to obtain easements or subdivisions from land owners as required 4. Prepare full set of bid ready drawings and specifications for new interconnection, piping, and regulating chamber and obtain all necessary board approvals, plan approval, and/or permits as required. 5. Prepare full set of bid ready drawings and specifications for the elimination of the balancing reservoir and obtain all necessary board approvals, plan approval, and/or permits as required. 6. Coordinate with the NJ Infrastructure Bank (formerly NJEIT) to secure funding for the project 7. Provide construction administration services
