Orchard Beach State Park High Lake Level Modifications

The work includes, but is not necessarily limited to: disconnection of existing building utilities; relocation of the historic shelter building to a newly prepared foundation via a constructed roadway to the new foundation, and abandonment of old foundation; new bathroom interior construction, with new water service and sanitary sewer connections; reconstruction of stone terraces and stairs, plus new barrier-free pathways, and relocation of an existing water fountain; and restoration of all disturbed ground surfaces. The work also includes: replacement of an existing gabion basket shoreline revetment with a new armor stone revetment; replacement of the existing stormwater outfall within the revetment; repairs to the lake access stairway; and grading of an access road to the shoreline.
