Description

Mahlon Moore and Harvey Park Sewer Improvements Project consists of the following: Installation of approximately 1,750 LF of 15-inch gravity sewer by open-cut construction; installation of eight (8) 4-foot diameter sewer manholes, ARAP creek crossing, excavation, gravel bedding, backfill, roadway and surface restoration, erosion prevention and sediment control (EPSC) and all incidental work necessary for a complete and operational project in accordance with the plans and specifications. All bids must be made out on the Bid Form bound in the contract documents, and the Bid Form should not be detached from the contract documents. Bids will not be opened from Bidders who have not obtained the contract documents from the Engineer. With the bid, each Bidder must deposit security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid, subject to the conditions stated in the Instructions to Bidders. A Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount will be required for the successful Bidder. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities and to reject any or all bids.
