City Wide Milling and Asphalt Paving

**As of May 13, 2022, project was awarded toMonarch Paving Company, awarded amount is $499,340.45** The work for which bids are requested consists of approximately 3,650 lineal feet of street construction, consisting of concrete curb and gutter replacement, concrete driveway approach replacement, concrete sidewalk replacement, milling of bituminous surface, adjusting manhole covers, adjusting inlets, crushed aggregate base course, preparation of aggregate base, grading, sawing, bituminous pavement, lawn restoration, detour signage and epoxy pavement marking. Bid Bond 5% No Pre-Bid Conference Available No construction on E. Hamilton Avenue shall take place prior to Monday, June 6, 2022. The amount to be deducted as liquidated damages if the Contractor fails to complete a street in the time allowed shall be $500.00 per calendar day (Section 0700.12, Liquidated Damages of the General Conditions of the Contract). Completion shall be when final restoration and clean-up is complete. City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive irregularities and technical errors as may be deemed in the best interest of the City.
