2021 Arts Center Restoration

Request for Proposal is to select a qualified Contractor for turnkey design and/or restoration at the City of Louisville’s Arts Center. Scope of work to include masonry, structural restoration roofing, window restoration and site grading grading and drainage. Site Grading and Drainage: Grading around the building and inadequate drainage causes flooding in the building’s basement and is eroding the brickwork. 1. Trim tree branches away from Roofline 2. Trim vegetation on South side of the building away from the wall and restrict to trellis 3. Remove any plants growing against the building and replant away from building 4. Slope mulch away from the building 5. Slope Ground surface to drain away from the building and away from the basement stairwell 6. Saw cut concrete pad and install larger drainage grate at basement landing. 7. Replace sandstone used facing over concrete steps with matching sandstone and fill in settling cracks between landings with concrete.
