Description

The Avondale Phase II Seepage project will consist of sheet pile installation on the left descending bank of the Mississippi River Levee (MRL) in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana from B/L Sta. 387+50 to B/L Sta. 394+50 and from B/L Sta. 406+50 to 409+50. All work will occur between river mile 108 and river mile 107. The construction of the Work Item will include tip of steel sheet piling which will be driven to elevation -41 feet for a non-continuous distance of approximately 1,000 feet. From B/L Sta. 387+50 to B/L Sta. 394+50 the sheet pile is 61 feet long, and from B/L Sta. 406+50 to B/L Sta. 409+50 the sheet pile length is 59 feet long.
