New Gates and Wayfinding at the Brooklyn Navy Yard

New vertical lift gate for vehicular access with associated track and lift mechanisms. New sliding fence gates for pedestrian access on one or both sides of the lift gate. Selective reconfiguration perimeter fences and gates, including fence improvements adjacent to gate entries, redesigned for greater transparency for improved sightlines. Near-term streetscape improvements for approximately 100,000 SF F (restriping, painted curbs, minor curb realignments) for enhanced and safer multi-modal access. Landscape design for an approx., 2,500 SF public plaza a/park as part of the Cumberland Gate reconfiguration. Integrated signage and wayfinding system incorporating signage elements into the gate assembly. Removal of all existing signs, including Building IDs, directional signage, street signs and other existing exterior signage. Design, fabrication and installation of new signs including Building IDs, building entrance and loading dock IDs, directional signage, street signs, and multi-modal identification signs. Campus ID and gate signage to be integrated into the gate upgrades.
