Road Materials and Supplies (Concrete Work)

Town Council of the Town of Highland, Lake County, Indiana, will receive sealed bids for the following supplies, materials, and services, for the year 2022. Road Materials and Services Concrete Curbing (Rollback and Highback) Concrete Sidewalk Concrete Driveway All bids are to be furnished in accordance with specifications on file in the office of the Public Works Director in quantities shown in said specifications. Such materials are to be furnished when requested by the Public Works Director or his designee. Bidders shall execute their bids on forms prescribed by the Town of Highland and shall include the usual statutory non-collusion affidavit. Each Bidder must ensure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, creed, color, sex, or national origin. Each bid shall be accompanied by an acceptable certified check or cashier's check made payable to the Town of Highland or an acceptable bid bond, executed by an incorporated surety company in good standing and qualified to do business in the State of Indiana, in an amount equal to 5 percent of the total bid price. The successful bidder will be required to furnish, execute, and deliver to the Town of Highland a satisfactory performance bond in the amount of their bid to guarantee the faithful performance of the contract. The Town Council of the Town of Highland reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
