Description | Award Details Contract Award Date: Aug 09, 2022 Contract Award Number: 36C77622C0095 Task/Delivery Order Number: Contractor Awarded Unique Entity ID: H8KMD811NZE3 Contractor Awarded Name: INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE SERVICES INC Contractor Awarded Address: Escanaba, MI 49829-9577 USA Base and All Options Value (Total Contract Value): $9627000.00 INTRODUCTION: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Program Contracting Activity Central (PCAC) anticipates soliciting bids and subsequently awarding a single Firm-Fixed-Price contract for the Design-Bid-Build EHRM Infrastructure Upgrades Construction project at the Iron Mountain VA Medical Center (VAMC) located at 325 E H St., Iron Mountain, MI 49801. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Project involves upgrades to the facilities electric and IT infrastructure to allow for the new Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) system. The scope of this project includes but not limited to the following infrastructure improvements: electrical upgrades, bonding, UPS, Building Management System interfaces, upgrades to the existing HVAC, reconfiguration, expansion and renovation of existing closet spaces, upgrades to the communication infrastructure (new data outlets, patch panels and upgrade to Cat 6A cabling) in buildings, physical security upgrades and upgrades to the fiber infrastructure backbone campus wide. ADMINISTRATIVE: The solicitation will be issued as a Invitation for Bid (IFB) conducted in accordance with FAR Part 14 and will be evaluated in accordance with the procedures listed in the solicitation. The solicitation will be advertised as a total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. Offers received from other than SDVOSB concerns will not be considered. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220 with a size standard of $39.5 million. The solicitation will be issued in early March of 2022. The period of performance is approximately 365 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. In accordance with VAAR 836.204, the magnitude of construction is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. This notice is not a request for competitive offers.
