Description

Work for this project includes furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, fixtures, and services required for the placement of a rubberized chip seal and fog seal on Iron Springs Road and Kirkland Valley Road. Project length is approximately 27.74 miles, and the total estimated quantity of area to receive the rubberized chip seal is approximately 548,456 square yards. Total estimated quantity of fog seal coat is estimated at 54,846 gallons. Four bridges are to be treated with an epoxy chip seal (approximately 21,856 square feet total). Other associated work includes restoring pavement markings and installing 216 linear feet of preformed thermoplastic rumble bars.
