| Description | The City of Richmond is accepting bids for the construction of new and renewal gas projects to provide general contracting services that include but are not limited to installation, renewal, and retirement of gas mains, services, and facilities within the City of Richmond's natural gas distribution system. The City of Richmond's gas distribution system area is defined as the corporate limits of Richmond, Henrico, and portions of Chesterfield County and Hanover County. Richmond's distribution system is approximately 425 square miles. In submitting this bid, it is understood that the City of Richmond, Virginia, reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to award in whole or in part as determined to be in the best interest of the City. It is agreed that this Bid may not be withdrawn for a period of 60 days from the opening thereof Accompanying this Bid is a certified or cashier's check Bid Bond for not less than five percent (5%) of the bid amount set forth in item 14 of this Bid Form. |
