Intersection Improvement Services Job Order Contract

Work may include, but is not limited to, new signal installation, upgrade or repair of existing signals, roadway widening, drainage facilities, concrete curbs, curb and gutter, pedestrian ramps, intersection lighting, pavement markings, and roadway. Construction Services by the JOC Contractor may include, but are not limited to, the following: 1. Provide construction services for various projects, including required labor (including subcontractors), materials, equipment, and related services for remodeling, renovations, tenant improvements, and additions, including site work, installation of water, sewer, or other utility extensions. 2. Assist with scoping and construct ability issues. 3. Provide project scheduling. 4. Provide detailed cost estimating and knowledge of marketplace conditions. 5. Provide value engineering as required. 6. Provide long-lead procurement studies and possibly initiate procurement of long-lead items. 7. Coordinate with various County departments and other agencies including utility companies, etc. 8. Schedule and manage site operations. 9. Bid, award, and manage all subcontracts while meeting the County project requirements. 10. Provide quality controls. 11. Address all Federal, state, city, and county permitting requirements, and assist in the permitting processes. 12. Maintain a safe and clean work site for all project participants, County staff, and the public.

Division 32 -	Exterior Improvements, Flexible Paving, Asphalt Paving, Rigid Paving, Concrete Paving, Paving Specialties, Pavement Markings.
Division 33 -	Utilities, Storm Drainage Utilities, Storm Drainage Structures.
