Description

Phase III engineering services are required for construction inspection for the removal and replacement of the existing eleven span structure S.N. 072-0037 with a new four-span steel girder structure (S.N. 072-0249) utilizing road closure on IL Route 116 (Harmon Highway) west of Peoria. The work on IL Route 116 includes installation of approach pavements, hot-mix asphalt surface course, aggregate shoulders, sidewalk, curb and gutter, storm sewer, manholes and inlets, earthwork, stone dumped riprap, guardrail and traffic barrier terminals, pavement marking, seeding and any other miscellaneous work necessary to complete this section. Kickapoo Creek Road will also be improved with the installation of a new aggregate base with hot mix asphalt binder and surface, aggregate shoulders, pipe culverts, guardrail, seeding and other miscellaneous roadway items of work.
