Description | Requiring demolition services for two buildings located at Highway 160 A Milepost 167.7, South Fork, CO 81154. There are two buildings included in the demolition with descriptions as follows: 1) Maintenance Building (ID 1000/5/176): This building consists of one-story with approximately 3,000 square feet and was constructed in 1979. The building is a metal-framed structure with a sheet metal roof system. Exterior building materials include sheet metal and interior materials include sheet metal, wood and concrete. Fiberglass building insulation is located within the ceilings and walls of the structure. The contractor shall remove the entire structure and all footers and the foundation along with the associated floor drains and oil/sand separator tanks and associated piping (the tanks are approximately 1,500-gallons and the demolition contractor will arrange to have the liquids removed and include this in their bid). The fuel tank and lift station shall remain in place. The contractor shall move the generator adjacent to the fuel tank. There is non-friable black perimeter tar/caulking (approximately 200 linear feet), non-friable black tar on concrete (approximately 5 square feet reported) and white/tan front door caulking (approximately 25 linear feet) which will remain in place for building demolition. 2) Sand Shed (ID 1000/5/178): This structure consists of one-story with approximately 2,400 square feet constructed in 1976. The structure consist of a wood and metal frame with a wood plank interior and a dirt floor. Any asphalt or concrete beneath the structure shall be removed as part of the demolition along with any building foundation. The exterior walls and roof consist of sheet metal. |
