Description | The City of Henderson, Nevada, is soliciting responses from qualified construction managers/general contractors for the performance of Construction Manager at Risk ("CMAR") services for new Therapeutic Recreation Building ("Project") as part of a new 7-acre Adaptive Use Park at the SW corner of Russell Rd and Stephanie St, Henderson 89011. Pre-construction services shall include active participation in the design process including: constructability reviews; construction cost estimates at 30%, 60%, 90%; system and unit price costing for subcategories of work; advice; project analysis and feedback regarding materials, methods, systems. Should also include schedule development, descriptions of long lead items, analysis and expertise relating to labor and other conditions affecting construction and subcontractor selection for development and construction of the Project. CMAR to assist in all ways possible to achieve the goals outlined in the grant award for both scope and budget. At the completion of design, the CMAR shall follow Nevada Revised Statute (NRS) requirements for delivering a Guaranteed Maximum Price. Anticipated scope of construction to be evaluated includes a 10,000 square foot facility as shown in the attached preliminary design documents.
