Well Drilling

The Shoshone-Paiutes of the Duck Valley Indian Reservation are accepting bids to drill multiple wells for 'Solar Livestock Watering Systems' in the months of June/July 2021. Each well is anticipated to be drilled up to a total depth of 200 feet, with each well being drilled at least 50 feet below the static water level. A solar powered submersible pump will be installed in each well which will provide water to the troughs. The pumps will be controlled with pressure switches connected to a four-gallon in well pressure tank. The pressure switches will have on-off pressures of 30 psi and 50 psi. A generator transfer switch will be installed next to the pump controller in the event solar power is not capable of powering the pump.
