Description | All questions regarding the IFB and requirements must be emailed to Patrick Gilbert at GilbertP@cmha.net. before Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at 5 pm The Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority (CMHA) is seeking bids from qualified contractors for repairs in occupied units at LaRonde Apartments. LaRonde Apartments is a 6-floor senior high-rise building consisting of 57 total units. 10 units are studio, and 47 are one-bedroom. This Project consists of accessibility and life safety repairs at LaRonde Apartments to include: installation of GFCI outlets, smoke detectors, and range hood fire suppressors in dwelling units, audio/visual alarm notification in 2 units, and stairwell signage to identify floor level, stair level, and exit level. Refer to Exhibit 1 - Scope of Work for detailed project general notes, specifications, and drawings. CMHA, at its sole discretion, may award one or more contracts to perform the services or a subset of the services outlined in the scope of work. CMHA reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive technicalities, and to accept any bid deemed to be in its best interest. CMHA also reserves the right to seek additional or new bids and to waive informalities and minor inequities in bids received. This project is subject to HUD Maintenance Service Person IV $15.56 (base) + $8.37 (fringe) = $23.93 total. CMHA is committed to involving Minority and Women-owned businesses in its procurements and awarded contracts. Any MBE or WBE qualified vendor should state specifically such status. CMHA has established the following goals with regards to Minority and Women Owned Businesses. Bidders are required to make sincere efforts in attempting to achieve CMHA participation goals. In the event subcontracting goals are not met, bidders shall submit documentation showing good faith efforts in attempting to achieve applicable goals. Minority-Owned Business goal: 20% of contract dollars Woman-Owned Business goal: 10% of contract dollars ACE Program Coordinators are central points of contact for ACE Program compliance by CMHA and its contractors and subcontractors. CMHA encourages its contractors to reach out to ACE Coordinators with questions by contacting them at ACE@cmha.net.
