South Terminal Expansion and In-Line Baggage System at the Punta Gorda Airport

The project includes the south expansion of the commercial terminal and installation of a new in-line baggage system and outbound carousel. Work includes building demolition, building construction, multiple construction phases, new electrical service, site grading and drainage, and remodeling of vacated TSA space. The Charlotte County Airport Authority reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in or reject any or all proposals and to award or refrain from awarding the Contract for the Work. Federal laws and regulations require specific clauses in certain contracts, solicitations, or specifications regardless of whether or not the project is federally funded. The FLSA sets minimum wage, overtime pay, recordkeeping, and child labor standards for full and part-time workers. The Contractor has full responsibility to monitor compliance to the referenced statute or regulation. The Contractor must address any claims or disputes that arise from this requirement directly with the U.S. Department of Labor Wage and Hour Division.
