| Description | Remove existing shingles down to the wood decking. 1. Replace any damaged decking (submit square foot price) 2. Install synthetic underlayment over wood decking. 3. Install ice and water shield around penetrations and along rake and eaves. 4. Install starter shingles at rake and eaves. 5. Re-use existing metal flashings (sand and paint). 6. Replace all pipe flashings. 7. The asphalt shingles are to be min. 30yr. Architectural shingles over 30lb roofing felt. Peal-and-stick roof underlayment (ice and water shield) is to be applied to the roof deck at all eaves, roof edges and transitions from roof to vertical walls (behind the flashing). |
