Description

Construct Portable Water Well, Luke AFB, Glendale, Arizona. This Design-Bid Build (DBB) project provides infrastructure support to Luke AFB located in Glendale Az. in the northwest quadrant of the installation to replace existing Well #11 that has failed. Replace water well #11. New +/- 2,000 LF deep, 18" diameter potable well with pump. Perform drilling operation necessary to construct new potable water well. Install casing and screen, gravel filter pack and grouting. Decommission old well #11. New water line connection and mixing vault between the well and ground water storage tank 1386. The project will include all necessary utilities, site improvements, pavements, communications support infrastructure, and all necessary supporting work for a complete and usable facility. Facility will be designed as permanent construction in accordance with the DoD Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC 1-200-01 and UFC 1-200-02). The period of performance is 270 calendar days and the estimated cost range for this procurement is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. This procurement is a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside.
