Drainage Pumping Station (Vicinity of Orange Lane)

The bid on this project was rejected, it will rebid in the future. This project consists of the construction of a new Storm Sewer Drainage Pump Station including procurement and installation of all related mechanical and electrical components including two 24 vertical propellor pumps. The pump station shall be constructed of a timber platform on driven timber piling with a suction basin below. The work also includes excavation of a new drainage ditch along Orleans Avenue directing flow into the new suction basin as well excavation of the existing drainage ditch along Orange Lane at the outfall into the new basin. Failure of the U.S. Mail to deliver the bids timely shall not be considered due cause for the scheduled time of the bid opening to be extended. Bids must be submitted on the Louisiana Uniform Public Works Bid Form furnished with the Bidding Documents. A single set of Bidding Documents shall be issued at the cost of reproduction to contractors who are licensed by the Licensing Board of Contractors. This Project shall require a Louisiana Contractors license number for one of the following: Heavy Construction. The Grand Isle Independent Levee District reserves the right to reject any and all bids in accordance with Louisiana State Bid Law.
