Street Improvements CDBG

This contract shall include all necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, inspection, testing, and superintendence required for the complete and operable rehabilitation of the proposed project as shown on the contract plans and specifications. This contract includes, but is not limited to the following: Base Bid Items 1. North Beaumont Street. Contractor shall rehabilitate approximately 1785 linear feet of asphalt roadway on various streets by pulverizing the existing roadway to a depth of twelve (8”) inches, mixing in lime-flyash per TxDOT Item 265, and applying 2” of Type “D” HMAC surfacing per TxDOT Item 340, including driveway and street transitions, removing and resetting mailboxes (as required) and traffic control, all in strict accordance with the plans and specifications. 2. South Beaumont Street. Contractor shall rehabilitate approximately 1510 linear feet of asphalt roadway on various streets by pulverizing the existing roadway to a depth of twelve (8”) inches, mixing in lime-flyash per TxDOT Item 265, and applying 2” of Type “D” HMAC surfacing per TxDOT Item 340, including driveway and street transitions, removing and resetting mailboxes (as required) and traffic control, all in strict accordance with the plans and specifications. 3. Pearl Street. Contractor shall rehabilitate approximately 555 linear feet of asphalt roadway on various streets by pulverizing the existing roadway to a depth of twelve (8”) inches, mixing in lime-flyash per TxDOT Item 265, and applying 2” of Type “D” HMAC surfacing per TxDOT Item 340, including driveway and street transitions, removing and resetting mailboxes (as required) and traffic control, all in strict accordance with the plans and specifications.
