| Description | The work consists of the removal and replacement of existing guardrails with new guardrails in three locations within the existing right of way, the replacement of existing end terminals, the construction of guardrail end anchor assemblies, the removal and replacement of existing W1-8 signs and posts and MGS delineators, traffic control, and all appurtenant work thereto necessary for the proper construction of the proposed improvements in accordance with the Project’s Plans and Specifications. The goal of this guardrail improvement project is to replace three of the oldest and most antiquated guardrails with upgraded and enhanced guardrails to better absorb the impact from collisions and slow vehicles down. |
