The project includes approximately 2,315 linear feet of 8"- water line and fittings. Bids shall be addressed to JCSUD. Bidding Documents and Contract Documents, including drawings and Technical Specifications, may be examined at: Transportation and Municipal Engineers, LLC 808 Shady Creek Court Clebure, Texas 76033 (817)517-4828 Each Bid shall be accompanied by a Cashier's Check ot Bid bond, acceptable to the Owner, in the amount not less than five percent(5%) of the total amount bid, as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into a proper Contract and execute Bonds on the forms provided in the Contract Documents. Bid sureties will be returned, upon request, after complete execution of the Contract. The surety company providing the Bid Bond must conform to the same requirements for surety companies providing Performance and Maintenance Bonds, and payment bonds as described below. The successful bidder must furnish Performance and Maintenance Bond, and Payment Bond on the forms furnished with Contract Documents in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total contract price, from a surety company holding a permit from the State of Texas to act as surety. The surety company must have a minimum Best's Key Rating of "B" or better. The surety company, the agency and the agent issuing the Performance and Maintenance Bond and Payment bond must be authorized to issue such bonds in Texas in an amount equal to or greater than the total contract price. JCSUD reserves the right to waive any informalities and to reject any or all bids. At the option of JCSUD, all or part of tje contract may be awarded.
