Contractor Awarded Address: Colorado Springs, CO 80907-5082 USA Base and All Options Value (Total Contract Value): $2137986.00 The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is seeking qualified and capable contractors to submit offers for a Air Handler Unit (AHU) replacement project at FAA's Air Route Traffic Control Center (ARTCC) located in Longmont, Colorado. This procurement is being set aside for a small business under NAICS code 238220 - Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors, which has a small business size standard of $16.5 Million. Estimated size of this project: Between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Work included in project: Replace ten air-handler units (AHUs): 1,2,3,4, and 5 in the automation wing first floor, rooms 110A and 111A, and 6,7,8,9, and 10 in the automation wing basement, room B10A. Replace inline supply air fan, SF-1, in room 111A and clean ductwork. Install semi-permanent airflow dams and adjust raised access flooring system as necessary. Demolish emergency AHU shutdown switches, conductors, and raceways to source. Line stop or pipe freeze hydronic piping to replace chilled and hot water branch isolation valves servicing each AHU. Replace all piping, piping accessories, and insulation up to branch valves for AHU. Replace AHU floor stand, vibration isolators, and space temperature and humidity sensors. Demolish and install new conductors and circuit breakers in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations. Re-use and extend electrical raceways where applicable.
